It's very fun. ^^ You have a wonderful scence of humor. Your a master with a keyboard. I could never do that. ^^; I guess that means my brother is telling the truth, the keyboard is your friend. XD
:iconlucky13:
Yes mam. The keyboard is your friend. That much is for sure even so I am hardly a master. Perhaps I will be one day.

I see that you are using version CS. You may want to have a look at Printing A List of Keyboard Shortcuts whitch is a very short movie that will set you on the proper path :)

Thank you so much for the comment and please have a wonderful day,

Barry

I always enjoy your tutorials. :-) You should check out my girl under glass. I don't remember which tutorial of yours helped with them.

cool video .. i def could have used it back in the old paint shop pro days when i was playn a lot with silly image ideas for friends

there are a few things missing .. sorta .. from your video..

experience has tought me that among most important are the sharpen, blur and noise tools to get the tattoo to be more inline with the image's quality .. and maybe also the burn/dodge

i used to work with pics of poor quality ... here's an example of an early play i did -> [link]

ok .. nuff ranting

keep up the good work

Yepper there is always more that can be done but unfortunately file size of the movie only allows me to get into the meat of most ideas idea.

If you use dodge and burn a lot I do have a movie on my hard drive that is an alternative and superior method, though a tad more complex, to dodge and burn that will get more or less the same results.

If you would like to see it just let me know and perhaps I will upload it some day.

As always, thank you so much for the comment and have a great day,

Barry

would love to see any video u can upload ^^;

i can think of a few ways to replace the burn/dodge tools ... a grey layer that u color with wite/black and merge it as .. i donno yet .. but that's the general idea :faint:

Dude, that was awesome. I love it, very informative! Funkified =P.
:iconlucky13:
That is the ticket in a nut shell. Simply create a new layer above the layer to be affected and set it at 50% gray overlay. Then paint on it with the paint brush set some where between 15 and 20 % opacity. This is more work, not something that I enjoy, but it gives you the flexibility of not working directly on the layer or a copy. This method allows you to control the affect if needed by adjusting the master opacity of the 50% gray layer. You can also set more than one layer for different areas of the image if need be.
